SO-CAL Speed Shop was founded in 1946 by Alex Xydias. Fifteen years later, Xydias closed the shop to pursue numerous other automotive industry opportunities. In 1997, Pete Chapouris, with the cooperation of Xydias, revived the iconic shop under its original name.
